Monthly under normal use. The unit will display a service indicator after 720 operating hours (roughly one season of moderate use). Cleaning is a 5-minute job: slide the filter out, rinse with cold water, allow to dry.
Yes. Measured at 1 metre from the indoor unit, with the unit set to Quiet mode (700 rpm fan speed). For reference: a library at midnight measures around 30 dB.
The Heat-pump 12k uses R32 (0.46 kg per unit), with a Global Warming Potential approximately one-third of R410A. The Cooling-only 18k uses R410A (0.840 kg).
