Cookies

A short, honest account of what is and is not stored in your browser when you visit this site.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website may ask your browser to store, so the website can recognise you on a return visit or remember a preference. Cookies range from strictly necessary (the site cannot function without them) to optional (analytics, advertising, personalisation).

Cookies Tokiwa sets

Tokiwa's application does not set any cookies. We do not run analytics, we do not embed advertising networks, and we do not store visitor preferences in browser cookies. Your language choice is reflected in the URL itself (/en or /ja), not in a cookie.

Cookies your host may set

This site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages, which may set a small number of strictly-necessary technical cookies for edge security and load balancing. These cookies do not identify you to Tokiwa and are not used for marketing or analytics. Cloudflare publishes its cookie list on its own site.

Your control

You can clear cookies, block them, or set your browser to prompt you before accepting any cookie. Doing so will not affect what Tokiwa receives, because we receive nothing from cookies in the first place. The host-side cookies are technical only; blocking them may, in rare cases, prevent the site from loading correctly.
